Dear Diary,
Teddy and I took Mum to the Royal Easter Show this week. The things you do for your parents! I mean look at me... I look silly. Still, she does love coming so much, we could hardly let it pass as we were in the country at the time.
This walkabout is very long. I don't think Mummy realised how hard it is to be on walkabout for 9 weeks. I'm sure I will be a different person when I get back home. I hope Dad thinks it is an improvement. Dad will be back with us in two weeks. I think he misses me.
I sort of understand what the telephone is for... it's something to do with telling people things. Sometimes Dad's voice comes out of it. I've said "goodbye" to him on it a lot of times. I worked up the courage to say "I'm just doing stuff" into it last week. I felt stupid talking to a bit of plastic. Still, if I can wind up looking like this for Mum, I can talk to an inanimate object for Dad.
I'm watching you Teddy. Keep your grubby little fingers off my hat.
My brother's such a tease.
