Dear diary,
I just love trains! I like to dream about them.
I have Thomas Tank Engine on my pillow, on my towel, my backpack,
and even my face washer.
I have a wooden Thomas, and Douglas and Lady, and a new electric James
(thanks Dominique!).
I have lots of books about Thomas and his friends.
I have a train I can ride on.
I have big trains I can drive myself, and a table for the push trains.
I have videos of Thomas and Lady and James, and of real steam trains
that run in the Severn Valley (thanks Danny!) and
on the Durango-Silverton track (thanks Dale!).
Dad won't let me play with the little trains... but I like to watch
and imagine.
When I go to bed at night, I get three books read to me. I like to finish with a soppy book read by my Mum, and I like one action book, but I always start with a train story. Proof positive that 115 weeks is more than enough to develop an obsession.
Oh yes, and Thomas slippers.
