Jonathan's 50th Birthday Party, May 2006

Since we anticipate having some sort of farewell in the next few weeks, we did not do a huge party for Jonathan's 50th.

The previously-mentioned Scott-Taubman law of party attendance predicts that two thirds of invitations will show. The rule held this time. However, we did hear some abject apologies in the following week from people who just plain forgot. Maybe the contributing factors change as one's set ages.
