This year's party suffered from low attendance on account of a flu epidemic sweeping Santa Rosa. The Scott-Taubman law of party attendance says that, irrespective of how much notice is given, only two thirds of invitations will show. This party would have fitted this prediction well, if not for one-quarter of the invitees being sick with flu (or having kids sick with flu). The party was cosy, but quite fun.
