Hallway De-Wallpapering

Back in 1999 Denis and Lynne visited us, and they helped in the removal of the ghastly black backgound floral wallpaper in the loungeroom. Shocking wallpaper was something of a hallmark of the poor previous owner's wife (he had a lot of crosses to bear). Here you can see Kay removing the last bit of the most hideous variant. Note the relatively harmless stuff that remained, running up the stairs to the bathroom.

Here is the new view. Kay has single-handedly eradicated all the wallpaper on the stairs, through the upstairs hall.

This is a stark view, but a decidedly pleasant, cosy, calm one after the floral fracas it replaces. Marion's goose glows more effectively these days.
