The aim of the game is to score the most points on a road trip.
Points are scored by spotting and optionally identifying dead creatures on the road.
- The first person to announce a road kill gets the points.
- If you identify the road kill as a particular creature
the points scored are as follows:
- 10 points for a hedgehog (common and slow)
- 20 points for a possum (common)
- 30 points for a rabbit (common but quick)
- 50 points for a bird (fairly rare)
- 50 points for a cat (not unheard of but rare)
- 100 points for a dog (extremely unlikely)
- If the carcass is unidentifiable or if you are so eager you call it early,
you call it as a UDA (Unidentified Dead Animal) and score 5 points.
- Once called as a UDA, you cannot score more points for identifying the ex-creature.
- Only one person can score per animal.
- A wrong identification costs negative the score.
- No score if you kill the creature yourself.
