Bywater Grange Tower Extension

The extension was pretty much finished by Christmas 2007, though some months were required for details to be sorted out, and by April 2008 there are still odd unfinished details like a leaky toilet cistern.

Here you can see the tower extension in the background.

The house now has a total of five split levels and five bedrooms, two studies, four lavatories, lounge, dining, kitchen, laundry, double garage and attic. The extension is intended to resemble a signal box or a country church.

The work took about NZ$150k, before carpeting and landscaping.

Progress notes and construction photographs are archived here.
