Ah, well, this is, like Star Wars. I read a review that said "if you expect anything other than Space Opera, forget it". That is really all you need to know.
I was disappointed that it was just the same. The original had a bit more intrigue whereas this just sets the scene, the original had innovative graphics, innovative ideas. This had the same ideas, which are not now original. The alien characters made fun stereotypes. Hardly innovative, but it lightens the tone.
In summary, it was just OK.
